Living in Los Angeles County I can take my Land Rover Discovery to a number of Land Rover specialists or to the dealership. I just moved here and I just got my truck so I really have no experience with either.
Is there a consensus on which is a better alternative? I'm planning on making some mods to the truck (bumper, winch, lockers, etc.) over the next year or so and I'm pretty sure dealerships don't do that sort of stuff.
And no I don't have the time or the expertise (or the patience!) to do most of the work myself...
