I am (was?) about to put a deposit down on an F250 daily driver (new 2003.25 powerstroke, 6 speed) and then Alyssa and I see an article for the Morgan Aero 8.

I am delusional? Sounds like fun. Range Rover drive train in a 2000lbs roadster. Anyone else have or had a morgan? The plus 8 sounds like a disco drivetrain.

never had one, and I know nothing more than you, as I saw the same article, but isnt the pricetag going to be high enough that you can put 3 F250s in your driveway for one morgan aero 8....

ron, i was just at the vintage grand prix here in pittsburgh this past weekend and they had this car. it was pretty cool but it was going for like $60k it looked old but it was all new stuffs inside airbags and all. i cant imagine using it for an everyday driver.

had that wooden frame still, but it's just the body frame, you can see it easily from behind the rear wheels.

i dont comprehend how you can say f250 or morgan , they are so far on opposite ends of the spectrum it's like saying gay or stright

Just one point, the 'Aero' has a BMW lump. The old +8 had a Rover/Buick engine.....Also, it's not wooden anymore, space-age alum frame etc. (did you hear about the morgan with a wooden frame, wooden wheels, wooden engine? Wouldn' go!! (LOL?)

it still has a wooden frame used to support the body, i saw it myself and picked at it.

also he frame didn't look very space age it looked like thin wall C- challel that was painted grey so it looks like it had been galvinized.

or maybe i was trippin'

Its about 60 so 1.9 F250s.

Plus two year wait so two more years of driving crap its no sweat on the funds.

I keep trying to buy something practical but then, well, I buy something else :)

The plus 8 is old school, the aero 8 is pretty new age.
