I tried posting a picture in the practice area. I got an error message saying that the file was too large. The message also said that the limit file size is 80kb!

That is pretty freakin small. Are all the photos you guys have been posting are 80kbs or less?

They just bumped it up to 80k for registered users. It's still 50k for non registered users. 50-80k has met my needs. You need to remember, this site is free. Our hosts are paying mostly out of pocket.

I totally understand the limitation and reasoning. It's just that some of the photos posted on here look a bit more than 80K. It just caught me off guard.

BW,

The pics posted within a thread are limited to 80k....

If you send pics to Ho to be put in a gallery, they can be larger.

I usually play with some type of photo editor before posting. most of the movie pics I post are low quality images which require less space.

hummer

For example.......

So Paul, what's the size of that pic? When I resize a file and post it it comes out like crap. What's the trick?

Actually, the limitation was bumped up to 80k for registered users, while unregistered users are no longer allowed to attach pics to their posts. There is no limitation on pictures emailed to Ho, he will resize them appropraitely when he posts them.
