We currently have a 95 Disco which the wife drives daily. I saw a nice County LWB today on the road. Seems to be a 93-95. Thinking of buying another Rover for myself. What should I look for when shopping for a 94-95 Rangie compared to a Disco. Pretty much the same engine etc? Any advice? I think I know about the air suspension. Anything else to look for? |

Go for the '95. It has the Disco interior, much nicer than the standard Rangie interior. I have both a '90 RRC and a '95 LWB. I love the '95 for around town. Just be prepared to lose the air suspension soon after you pick the truck up. If you are well versed in Disco I repairs, the Range Rover more or less has the same probs. Except we don't have the valve problem the disco's have. Main things are Air Suspension, steering box, usual power steering and oil cooler hose leaks. These are probably the main areas. Larry |

I actually like the old clunky thrown together interior design of my 92 RR, but thats just me. If vehicle has been in bad weather areas, Check for rust on tailgate, sills, footwells, engine firewall, and well pretty much everywhere. |

Larry's right!! Also, RRC has power brakes, because of the traction control feature. So you need to let accummulator pressure out when working on them, like changing out hoses. Mine has a really weird pedal feel compared to the wife's Disco 1. You only have to push a little and the pressured system takes over. It is like that (apparently) to give 'instant effect' when the ABS detects a slipping wheel. $0.02 |

That is what my wife was talking about. I just sold my jeep and bought a 93 lwb Rr. I was wondering why my brakes work alot better than hers. the only regret I have about getting rid of the jeep is that I should have taken the winch off. DAm I am stupid |
