A coworker of mine emailed this to me:
If you had bought $1000.00 worth of Nortel stock one year ago, it would now
be worth $49.00. With Enron, you would have $16.50 of the original $1,000.00. With Worldcom, you would have less than $5.00 left. If you had bought $1,000.00 worth of Miller Lite (the beer, not the stock)
one year ago, drank all the beer, then turned in the cans for the 10 cent
deposit, you would have $214.00. Based on the above, my current investment advice is to drink heavily and
recycle.
If I liked beer, I'd have to run out andbuy some!!!! I wonder if htat will work with a case of Mike's Hard Lemonade?????

How does this work out with $1000 worth of fine single malt scots whisky? And who is willing to set me up with the $1000? I promise to be very careful and to recycle every one of those bottles! Really, I mean it.

Oh, I can't go there at work. Big Brother is watching. I'm not even supossed to be on this site either. We are only supposed to use the web for work related things. As far as doing work.. Hell, I'm doing 4 peoples jobs right now, haven't gotten a raise in 2 years, and have had my job threatend every 4 months for that last 3 years. What a great place to work. I'm soooo happy
P.S. wonder if GP saw that site. I'm sure he'd like it. |

Eric, When I'm on this site from work I'm "monitoring the network." And just trying a "random site." There have even been a few times before the site was moved that that path to discoweb.com was down somewhere (NY I think) and I had it escalated to the transit providers |
