A) 45 miles from home to work for me
B) 3 miles from home to work for her
C) Subie gets 30 mpg
D) Disco gets 15mpg
E) She's scared of little cars after what happened to her Outback...

But, if there's one thing I know, it's *patience*.... :)

Leslie, you didn't by chance purchase that from T&J auto in Hendersonville, NC did you? That building looks familiar. And I know he had a Red D1 there a couple of weeks back. Later.. rob

Rob, that's the truck.... Keith had it on consignment for Nathan; Nathan took it home just as we decided that we would ask about it.

LOL, w/ 3 kids, she doesn't get out of town unless I'm in tow to help out.....

Actually, I think I've convinced her to come to the Mid-Atlantic Rally, so, we should be there in full force, the whole bunch of us.... :)

Congrats, Leslie! Hard way to get a Disco again, but have her you do! Do we get a run-down on her?

Karen :)

Hey Leslie, that is great! I'm sorry, I didn't know that your wife was involved in an accident. Glad everything is okay.

Better watch out ... LOL, now, when Greg even starts looking at the keys to the Disco, I start growling ... ;-)

Cheers,
Kim :)

I looked at "Miss Scarlet" a few weeks back. I have a quarry there in Hendersonville that is not a mile or so back through the woods from J&T that I service. How do you like the forward cab and the matching series that Keith has? I'd like to have them both. Man, my wife would have to kill me:) Later.. RS

Karen, It's a clean '95, unmolested, as-of-yet. Venetian Red, castor alloys, no leaky sunroofs, no rattly jumpseats, cloth interior... there are little things that I miss on it that my '99 had, like the seat heaters (NOT that I need them right now! lol, but that come winter, they would have been nice), but considering that the payment is half of what it was, for half as long, our piggy-bank is happier.

Kim,
Thanks! She's fine, only had a tinsy-weensy scratch from when she was pulling her purse out of the back seat afterwards and got a little nick from the glass that was everywhere. The car's cabin held up great, it was a VERY well designed little Subaru, it just hurt because it hadn't even reached 3000 miles... hadn't even had it's first oil change yet.

Rob,
Keith has a lot of vehicles that I wouldn't mind to have, actually... lol... I'm still waiting on him to find a Tickford... (like I expect that to ever happen, and if he did, I know I couldn't afford it.... lol...) Guess I need to be happy that I've got the Series to beat on.... :)

Congrats Leslie! Awesome color choice. I never lose my rig in the parking lot and neither will you :)

Good to see you have some back over. I guess the old oil spots in your driveway were getting lonely :)

Great looking "Scarlet!" I looked at that one too on their website. She seems to be a great truck. The first Disco I ever met (aka: drove) was a 97 Cherry Red...and it was love ever since!

Looking forward to meeting you and your wife at MAR...I just need to fill out the form! :)

LOL, I could have told you it was not an if but a when, heh heh.... but the Series does a good enough job keeping the driveway oiled on its own. :)

Just look for a bright-red Disco with 3 kids hanging out at the Thatched Roof Garage campsite...
