Well, unfortunately my bank screwed up, so because of them I have to wait until tomorrow to get my down payment out & to buy the car. I love the way it looks in red & it's my favorite color. I'm sure that my husband will take tons of pictures & get them up here soon, or I will. How does your wife like hers? I'm driving to SAE in mine, with the husband in the Disco. That is after I finally get the damn thing! :p |

My wife loves hers. It wasn't the one John C saw, though. Judy don't have a vanity plate. |

I bought a 2002 on Friday. I absolutely love it. The only problems so far are that the sub-woofer is not working & that it is pulling to the right a little bit. I'm taking it back this week to have that fixed. It's an awesome car otherwise. It pratically takes care of itself - when the first 3000 miles are put on it, you need to give it an oil change. Then, it will not need another oil change for 12000 miles!! It continues to be every 12000 miles, unless you go off-roading in it, but even then you only need to change the oil every 6000 miles or so. It was made to run on 87 octane, so you do not need to fork out the extra cash for more expensive gas! It was also made to handle snow & it is the best & safest kind of Landrover to drive in the snow. It also has a hill-decent control, etc... etc... I'm happy! |

huh? Why is it the safest kind of Land Rover to drive in the snow? What's the big deal about HDC? Am I missing something? |

Al, let the girl have her moment. Allie, all LRs are great for driving in bad weather, but I think we all know the feeling of the BEST Land Rover is the one we just bought. Congrats and enjoy! Karen |

After I bought it, a Landrover employee & a LR manager told me , "It was also made to handle snow & it is the best & safest kind of Landrover to drive in the snow." So there! :p |

Well, from the way it looks, I'd rather drive a freelander on snowy roads than a disco. Just as how I'd rather drive a Subaru on snowy roads than a disco. Sometimes, it just takes way too long to regain control in disco once you're sideways... |

I hugged the steering wheel after I bought it. My LR guy laughed at me, but I have no idea why! |
