I just noticed my front heated windshield wont work. the master switch will not illuminate but when pressed i here a clicking from the relay. i decided to start smalland cheap and check the obvious stuff like fuses.. they were ok. I replaced the master switch, still w/ no luck. finally i replaced the heated windshield relay, still w/ no luck. Any hints or tips. i think the only component left is the timer unit? |

New member, just saw your message. Check in your owner's manual, or a shop manual. THe windshield circuit is interlocked with the oil pressure switch so that it cannot be turned on if the engine is not running (big current drain). Check the circuit from the oil pressure switch, make sure that the pressure switch is operating (normally open, closes on pressure). CJH 1990 RR Classic Philadelphia, PA |
