Ho is beyond magical, but I think Axel is the one that will send the vid :) Axel will scare you with efficiency, too, so you won't be disappointed! Great video, you have a treat in store.

Karen :)

Yep, it's time to whip out both videos (Moab & Back East) and give them a watch. I think tonight. :)

We were discussing the videos a couple of weekends ago ... Something that was pointed out, was something that I think I like best about them: Unlike videos like Camel Trophy, etc., these are videos of enthusiasts just like you & me (now don't get offended because I said 'me', HAHAHA). Meaning, these are real trails (well, okay, not so sure about 'the sticks', hehe), and not necessarily all pro's with trailer teams following them to do their repairs and change parts, etc.

Great quality with the footage and video. Nice work, Ax :)

Kim
My only disapointment is, I would love to see and hear some of the edited footage (big grin).

That depends on how well the new one does on DVD.
Also, how many people would be interested in Moab 2001 and Back East if we should decide to put it out on DVD?

It will be much easier for Rob to go right to the spots on the DVD that show the truck he doesnt have anymore..... How convinient. And ofcourse I will need a few here for when he is down so I can play those sections over and over..

you were bitching about the quality of the DVD from axel, saying it was jumping/studdering and shit.

then you threw in the I am sam flick and it did the same shit occasionally , making me think you have a POS dvd player and the discoweb dvd is kosher.

now you dig?

not too shabby for a 13 year old truck, how's your's van sound kyle?

Axel, I for one would be interested in the DVDs of the older videos. I already converted the BE video to VCD so I could play it in the living room but I'm sure that the DVD would be of much better quality. Though, like I've mentioned before to you(I think I have at least) I've got a Terapin VCD recorder (www.goterapin.com) that I purchased for around $250 on eBAY. You could simply make one nice copy on DVD, and make VCDs from that High Quality DVD onto cheap CDrs that will play in pretty much all DVD players put out over the past year or so. Also plays on the computer using Windows Media Player. That way you can get discs (CDr)for like .20 as opposed to $5 or $6 (DVDr).. just a thought

I was rolling down the road yesterday and noticed my Land Rover has a squeek, vibe and noises coming from the cabin. why is that Rob? :)

Although my Range Rover also doesn't make much noise. And I'm one step closer to talking my wife into keeping it instead of selling it. Pray for it please.

well my pojnt is i (personally ) believe the build quality is better on the range rover. :)

damn, pete, a vib? i told you to get some weight in there, and you need a tire balance then slide a business card under the dash cluster, that should shut the truck up.

hmmm, spray wd-40 on the rear retainers, they can creak when dusty.

Well, not really a vibe so much as not perfectly smooth like the RR. We are getting some new pavement around here and it's nice when it's on that. Maybe some new tires would help since I never plan on taking it off-road. :)

It's actually in the shop today getting the cats looked at since the CEL won't stay off. We'll see if I end up liking or hating this dealership. They did have a pimped out Windstar with all Rover badges on it. pretty funny looking.
