Woud you buy such a book?

Have you seen what is already on the market? Given their video, do you not think they could also do something as unique and as _substantial_ with a book?

Vote! Even take the effort to submit an imagined Table of Contents that you would like to see in print.

Here is a chance for you to contribute (other than a resoundingly cool post) to the community.

Ok, maybe this post will fall on apathetic ears and eyes -- it just ain't right, it just ain't the style of this site. It just don't fit. Likely quickly end up at the bottom of the virtual thread dunghill in a couple of days.

In many ways, while wheeling is a community event, it is inherently self-centered. Just you, your coolness, your earning the spot you are driving on. *Yawn* Ok, I can see all the reasons to ignore the suggestion here and I can imagine many more.

But you know something? This is important, more important that you might initially realize. Think about it. Take a chance.

Vote.

Well, I can see the confusion. My initial post was truncated right in the fricking middle.

Sorry for that -- of course the post is non-sensical. The words have no initial context.

Damn!

What do you folks think about Discoweb either writing _or_ overseeing the production of an edited book regarding the technical aspects of wheeling while incorporating the unique philosophical approach found within this site?

How about a vote? (Excepting the strawbosses, at this point!)

Given what they did with a video, given the susbtance therein, do you not think DW could produce such an equally engaging educational narrative true to essence of rovers and wheeling?

This is not about making a book based on the video, rather, it is about distilling, sifting, pulling together all the jewels and nuggets into cohesive narrative.

Fun, readable, challenging in its description of the technical aspect of wheeling, such a book could incoporate much of the collective information found within this site while reflecting the uniquely efficient, non-BS style found here.

A Rover book based on rover style wheeling!

Ah... I was starting to be afraid that that last bag of pipe tobacco wasn't just tobacco....

:)

Hmmm......

So, a "How-to" book for Discoveries going off-roadin'?

Or more of a "coffee-table' book, but instead of looking at all of the pretty vehicles, it's more "look at what this Disco is doing off-road" series of pics....

Hmmm.....

Is that what you're thinkin'?

Intriguing....
