Can someone explain these to me?

Okay, maybe the D110 is worth a bit of dough, eventhough it can't be registered in any state (makes me wish I had a huge farm or ranch).

But the 90 at 50K mile for $50K???? That thing should be gold plated and diamond encrusted, bling bling...

If either of those people frequent this board, you need to seek help.

Dave,

Some day I would like to own a D90. But when people ask $50K for a vehicle with 50K on the odo, that's out of control

D90

I guess I'll stick to my Disco.

The chrome rims on the D90 brings the price up $20k...bling bling..

Probably the fact that Land Rover "does not make the Defender anymore" also raises the price.... yeah right!!!

Sometimes I bother to actually email people and point things like that out.... "They still make 'em, they just don't import them HERE", or, "Market price is $20k or so, why have you doubled it?" but it's like teaching a pig to sing, it just annoys them and wastes my time....

Well, I understand trying to solicit to people who don't know enough to research, or would be willing to pay that much.

But places local to me have limited edition, '97 d90's with 6K miles that are priced at $42K. www.copleymotorcars.com

Makes me wonder what I could get for the '97 D90 I just bought with 100K miles on it.... I knew it was under book value, but I guess book value doesn't apply to some...
