How problematic is the EAS in late model Rangies. Im purchasing a 98 with 63k that has been immaculately maintained. Curious who has high mileage on their trucks and little problems? |

I have a 1999 with 63k and have not had a "real" problem. When I lived in a colder climate, I would get false EAS Fault Codes that were not stored in my computer. Now I live in a warm climate and have not had the problem since. Probably electrical. Anyhow, over time, the air bags will begin to wear and become brittle and will need to be replaced. It is inevitable in the life of the Rover to replace this or switch to springs. I would suggest obtaining a warranty if possible. |
