1996 RR When you put the truck in gear, the lights around the gear selector start flashing and the readout on the dash reads "select neutral". Cannot seem to make it go away by selecting neutral, or switching it to low and back. The truck still seems to drive fine. Any clue what is going wrong? Thanks in advance |

That is normal. The flashing lights and the message "select neutral" will always come on when you are shifting into low. Just shift to neutral low and leave it for 3 seconds, then put it in gear and go. |

Sorry for the misunderstanding, this doesn't happen when switching into low, it does it all the time. I just switched it into low hoping to solve the problem. Even in high gear, the lights flash and the readout says "select neutral." |
