I was finally able to get some good digital pictures of my new rear bumper. Tell me what you think. I made it myself.

Hey Brett, I don't have a Range but I love the lines on that bumper! You did a great job! I wish I could make something like that for my Disco. Functional, Strong, Slim, Attractive, you really covered all the bases. Congrats.

I'm glad you like the rear bumper JRoc, that was exactly what I was trying to accomplish with the project. I built with a 110 volt MIG welder, and all cutting/grinding was done with a 4 1/2 inch grinder. It was a LONG project, but I got it done. Ron, JB - I don't think I really know what you are implying with the chrome thing, but I can deffinately tell you that I *hate* chrome. My truck came with the stock chrome bumpers and although they were nice looking, they just didn't belong on a rover. The tires are WELL-worn 225/75 BFG MT. I bought them when I still had the air-suspension. I was afraid to go bigger at the time because if the Air stuff failed I would be driving home on bump-stops. Now that I have a RT 3" lift, I will be going to Goodyear MTR in either 235/85, 265/75, or 285/75 within the month.
