Man, that damn Java black has got to be the worst color ever! When it's clean (not too often) the paint looks worse then when it was dirty. All you can see are a million swirl marks. Anyone know how to get these swirl marks out? Thanks alot Rich |

I feel your pain man...... After an event like Uwharrie or Killington I have the truck detailed out. The funny thing is that the tree scratches turn into swirls. Airplane the movie: Stewardess; "How you you like your coffee" Elaine; "Black like my men" It's all good, Paul Java Black '00 pig |

Maguire's swirl and polish remover. Clay bar first and swirl remover second. Has worked great on all my vehicles. Todd |

Rich, Oxford Blue is not any better...I know. I have had some good results with the Maguires as well. However, if things are really ugly...3M "fill and glaze" can be obtained from your local Autobody Supplier. I follow it with the Maguires. |

Swirl marks? How do you get the branches to make those? All of mine are long and wavy. Sorry. Just being a smartass! |

Well, if you really must know Greg; Trees above the Mason-Dixon line are more artistic and therefore create the said name swirl. LOL Paul |

Rich: the Meguiar's products work well, and I have also tried the products in the Griot's catalog: they work better with a power buffer, but are pricey. www.meguiars.com www.griotsgarage.com Good luck. DW |

if you have water spots on your paint and windows use acid that is what we use at a dealership. just take a washing mitten and get it soapy put some acid on it and do little spots at a time and wash it off and out they come and with the windows use steel wool and acid and then when you are done soap the window and they come right out. |

Brad, What kind of acid? Lemon juice? Coke? Hydrochloric? Sulfuric? Deoxyribonucleic? :-) Just curious. Tate |

Hey, G2, what Paul meant to say is that your not high enough on the G-scale to get those pretty little swirls. You got to be at least a 3 or 4. Besides, you have to get out of the bumper factory and drive the truck for it to get scratches anyway. |
