Note how he talks about the 4.0 and this being the first year for it, wouldn't be so bad if it wasn't a 3.9.. I know that I see Discoverys listed as "Range Rover Discovery", and I saw one the other day listed as "Discovery truckster". Pointless thread, just had to vent to somebody.. |

Dude has a huge list of negative feedbacks, and some of his positives don't sound like they should have been. It's clear he doesn't take much care in properly researching his products nor accurately representing important things like condition. You sure have to tread ebay carefully, it's a mine field. You should see the current scamming going on there in a collectibles field I'm involved in. Seems to run in cycles, we bust the bad guys, but later down the road some new dummies come along and think we all just fell off the turnip truck. All part of the ebay fun!

I actually got my Disco off of eBAY. I suppose that I lucked out with finding a decent guy to buy from (imagemotors). Had about $200 work that needed to be done. I called and told him, he sent me a check to cover it. That doesn't happen everyday! |
