It looks like the SOLAROS website is down right now and I didn't think to write down directions to the next monthly meeting a few weeks ago. I don't have a clue where the meetings are (Tony's Pizza or something like that???) or how to get there but I would like to make the one this Wednesday, so any members out there want to help out?!? |

Hello Ronnie, I'm not a member of SOLAROS, but am down in ATL this week for work. I'd like to meet up with some people on Wednesday if the meeting is nearby. I'm staying about 3 miles from I-75 right off of 285W. Let me know on this board what you find out. I'm having trouble with getting my email and can't send any right now. Later.. Robert Sublett |

Ronnie, here are the directions:
1.go North on Ga400 and exit on 7B (Holcomb Bridge road).
2.cross back over Ga400 (means cross the bridge)
3.you will go through 2 redlights
4.at the second redlight turn left
5.Tonys is on the hill to your right.
I'm not sure what the name of the road/lane/ave/etc that Tonys is on but these directions will help.
I'm not sure what the full name is but I know that it's right there. It's across from Red Lobster. |

yea the meeting usually starts 7:30ish(im 99% sure anyway)....but there are always people there by 6:30ish talking in the parking lot etc. And then people are usually there til about 9:30 or 10:00
the actual name is Tonys Bar and Grille i believe...
Ronnie + Robert...are yall gonna be there? |

How do I get there from I-75/285 bypass? I'll try and do a search on it, but help on here would be nice. I will definitely go if my schedule allows it, which it should.. Peace.. RS |

Ok, disregard that last post. Found the place and it's only about 20 miles from where I'm staying. I will be there even if I'm running late which probably won't happen, but who knows? You going to be there Will? The physical address of the joint is 1085 Holcomb Bridge Road, Roswell, GA. Is there usually more than a couple of people there? Glad that this meeting fell on a week that I was down here solo this way it gives me something to do. Take care.. Robert |

Yea i will be there....yes generally there are at least 20-25 people there, but is often up to 40 people or as low as 15. there will probably be quite a few people there because its the final planning for the SAE next month as well as tellico next weekend....see ya there...
Heath...ill be at auburn sometime in the next 2 months visiting some friends...il llet you know when im there and we can go wheeling... |

Tellico next weekend huh? May have to try and attempt that one though next weekend was supposed to be "Work on the Bitch" weekend. I have now began referring to my Disco as the Bitch due to her extreme upkeep necesseties. What do you drive/look like Will? I'm a 250 lb white man in a white Disco with dents and Discoweb stickers. Will - yes I plan on being there if nothing comes up between now and then (which it shouldn't.) I've already scheduled to get off early so I can make the 150 mile journey!?! Actually, I've got a couple of buddies that live there in Atlanta and I left my cell phone charger when I was there last weekend so I need to go pick it up anyway.
Heath, let me know whenever you'd like to go. The rest of this month is pretty busy. It looks like the only wheeling I'll be able to get in is the SOLAROS Talladega ride this weekend. I'm just getting back into the 4x4 thing after being out for 5+ years so I have no idea of where to go around central AL anymore. From what I heard the land with the really large trails outside of B'ham has been purchased so now they're off limits... |

Is the meeting in a private/back room at Tony's? This is my first meeting and I didn't want to sit in the general dining room while the meeting was taking place elsewhere. |

jack- yup its in the back room at tonys. when you walk through the front door to tonys, go straight towards the back and turn right...its through the double doors in front of you. |

It was nice meeting you guys tonight at the meeting. I noticed that some of you enjoyed touching my Freelander with your greasey fingers. What time should I expect you to come clean it? Hehehe!

Allie-yea it was good to see you there last night. I meant to come over and say hey but you and Jon ran off before i got the chance. How you likin the new freelander?
Are you going to be at Tellico with Jon this weekend(and bringing the new freelander ;) ? or just the disco)
And yes Jon does always seem to take good pics on the trips---tell him thanks sometime!
