Saw this on EBAY and was trying to decide if I should get it before or after a winch. A winch is for recovery while this must be for overall performance.

It must, right... :-)

please, you know those would go great with those white letter tires of yours. It would help change the color of your letters from white to a nice shade of blue or green. You know you want them. Just order them. Really though, I want the strobe kit too..

Dude, those are sweet! I'm buying a set for my neighbor's jeep. He'll really appreciate the thoughtful gift.

I wonder if they come in Coniston?

Oh cool. I saw some really radically cool guy scoot through town yesterday in a white caddy escalade with 22" wire chrome rims and 3 or 4" white walls. I bet I could double my money on a set for him.

Oh yeah, there is another guy in town with an 80's erra suburban jacked up about 48" with at least a set of 38" swampers on it. I'll be he will take a set too. Just think, in a pinch, he could stack them up and get the diffs up to about 8" off the ground. :)

Truck is sitting with the door sills at about chest height and I'm 6'1", yet the diffs I swear are less than 10" off the ground.

Looks stupid, but you could park your miata under the center between the axels I guess.

Greg,

How do you suppose the diff's could go up higher? I guess even a 2" lift is stupid if the diffs stay in the same place. 10" of diff clearance is pretty good.

I don't suppose they could, but when the truck is sitting a full tire length above the tires, it looks stupid. You can see the whole undercarriage. They must have an extreme body lift on it. THe truck could easily sport some monster tires, which would move the diffs up.

Just looks very silly as is.

Believe it or not, I checked out the windshield washer deals as a possible way to put some sealed lights inside the crappy ARB indicator lights. These are basically small sealed LED's and would possibly work fine inside that fixture if you glued them in place.

Stupid idea, but could solve my problems with those lights leaking.

Bill,

Thats the problem. The water is getting into the light assembly and ucking up the lamp base. I want something that is sealed and doesn't require the existing socket. Then, it would just glue to the back wall of the assembly.

Really, any type of sealed light assembly that would fit into the plastic housing would work. Or, some replacement light fixtures that fit that opening.

There are some motorcycle lights I've seen that would work perfect, but they want $49 each for them. I'm more into the cheap as possible solution because I want to replace the bumper one day.
