Boge Leveling Unit upper slack

Author Message   Peter Carey (Pcarey) Posted on Thursday, August 29, 2002 - 01:09 pm:    Howdy, I've been experincing some clunking noises in the back of my 89RR the last two weeks or so. I finally got under there today and started knocking on things. Narrowed it down to slack in the upper attachment for the Boge leveling unit. Looking at the manual I can't discern if I need to replace the unit or if there's a ball joint up there that needs repacking/replacing. I believe some vendor had an adjustable ball joint.
