Howdy, I've been experincing some clunking noises in the back of my 89RR the last two weeks or so. I finally got under there today and started knocking on things. Narrowed it down to slack in the upper attachment for the Boge leveling unit. Looking at the manual I can't discern if I need to replace the unit or if there's a ball joint up there that needs repacking/replacing. Anyone? thanks pwc |

Peter, there is a thread going on right now ([email protected]) with respect to this problem. You might want to join the list. BTW, do you have a lift on the RR? |

And where's the best place to get a set of ball joints (might as well get them all now) pwc |

Ok, the reason I ask is that if it were lifted you could probably remove the SLU but you would still keep the a-arm. I believe some vendor had an adjustable ball joint. I'll try looking for the info and post it here. |
