Ok who has the White Gold DII with roof rack snorkel & brush guard with PA plates. Saw it on 206 in front of LR Princeton last night? Nice truck, it could use some Pine Barrens pinstriping.

Sounds like it could be Greg's rig. Not sure though. He has an ARB bumper though, and a small rack!!!

Greg's is white, not white gold isn't it? Mine is white Gold, with brush guard and rack and Pa plates....but I wasn't near LR Princeton! I was in NYC and on I78 returning last night! LOL

Well, it wasn't me unless you saw me & Paul crusing through on the way to Killington a few weeks ago. We blew the horn as we past the dealer, but I didn't stop.

Damn yuppies just looked at us like we were crazy. I guess they couldn't see my lattee because of the shadow being cast by my short rack flooring. :)

Soon to be a long rack though as the short rack is sold and the long one is ordered. ;)

Larry,
That was my DII @ Land Rover Princeton & is still there untill Tues.Since I bought it the trans. has been leaking & they have tried to fix it four times & they just found a bur around the pan that punctured the gasket every time. Maybe this time it will be okay. They are NY plates on the Disco.

Brian

You did a great job putting it together, it really looks nice. Hope to see it on the trail someday.

Larry,
Thanks for the compliment. I live in Binghamton, NY about 180 miles from Princeton but they vallet it for me, so I can't beet that. I saw some of the photos from Pine Barrens & would like to go there sometime.I went to Killington for the VTXS & that was the only time I have been offroad with other Rovers.
Thanks,
Brian

Brian, Do you ever get down to Paragon in Hazleton? Should be an easy trip for you from Binghampton. Email me about going to the Pine Barrons.

Rans,
I just found out about paragon & it is pretty close. I would like to go there but I think you need at least three vehicles.
Thanks,
Brian

Brian

Start a thread under the trails section. I'm sure you will get a response from people interested in Paragon.

Larry

If you lead we will follow.

Oh yeah, us PA people do not have that many options for wheelin' like the west coast guys, so we'll go almost anytime. If I'm free that weekend, i'll go.

Likewise, if I'm free I'll go. We also get down the the Pine Barrons of New Jersey to wheel....will you travel that far? (Betweeen Camden and the shore somewhere)

Brian, there are a few trails close to you that you might want to check out.

John,
Were are the trails in my area? Are you in this area? I would be willing to travel to Pine Barrons also. I just got a CDL Solenoid from Great Basin Rovers & want to put that on before I go wheeling. I will start a thread on trail events in a couple of weeks.
Thanks,
Brian

Brian,
May I ask how much the solenoid kit runs? I've emailed Bill about it but haven't had a response yet and it's not listed on his site. I'd like to hear about your experiences installing it too (when you are done).

Rans,
It cost $399.00 from Great Basin Rovers & seems to be an easy install. The directions here from Craig Kobayashi are very good & I emailed him with other questions I had with the install. I will post on here or email you when I do the install to let you know what I found.
Thanks,
Brian

"they just found a bur around the pan that punctured the gasket every time"

It took them four times to figure that out!

At least your trans fuild is clean, bet the inside is spotless.
