"But prosecutor Ken Frazee said Evans' actions, and that of his co-defendants - they stopped burning Gibson only long enough to reheat the spatula - warranted prison time." This is hilarious. |

Agreed! - but it doesn't look like these guys were exactly choir boys either: "Evans is already serving a two to 40-year sentence after being arrested and convicted for drug delivery several months following his assault on Gibson. Grant's sentence will be added to that. His co-defendant Dewon Williams, 21, is also in prison, serving a life sentence for an unrelated murder he committed several months after his attack on Gibson." |

Where they made thier mistake was they left him breathing. And then go to your grave never telling anyone. But looking at thier past criminal history they would have bragged. |

". But looking at thier past criminal history they would have bragged." LOL, agreed. I personally don't understand prosecuter Ken Frazee's assessment; I think these guys were rather humane ... I mean, if it were me, I would have had an extra spatula heating while the other was in use ... Kim |

Not getting to off track, I'm in San Diego and most of you have heard about the big murder rape trial going on here with David Wethersfield, But what ever the outcome Death or Life in prision is too easy. If i was the father I would never feel justice was done. All the horrors this guy did to Daniel VanDame did not come out until earlier this week during the penalty phase of the trial. This asshloes actions have affected the life's of hundreds of thousands of people in San Diego. My son put pad locks on gates to our back yard he closes all the windows he has even booby trapped his window sills in his bedroom room and sleeps with his paint ball gun loaded, The kid is creative he took the paint out and filled it with BB's then glued the hole. That sucker will hurt. he keeps it on the floor... Not trying to bring any one down but look after the kids have a good weekend |

Hey Dee, I hear you ... I'm only about 50 - 60 miles up the coast from you. We were out in the desert a couple of times while the search was on ... As far as Westerfield goes, I had almost hoped he would get life in prison as opposed to death ... I mean, this is California - We all know damn well, he won't actually get put to death (before he dies a natural one). With the death penalty, we all get to pay for appeal after appeal after appeal .... I have absolutely no pity when it comes to pedophiles. When it's proof positive, I want them tortured first, then a nice slow death. Kim P.S. be careful, at night walking around your son's room or by his window ... |

Kim, Yeah i got that one covered i did have to make him put the gun on the floor.. Well i hope Westerfield gets life because he will then be in general population and not protected. If he gets death he will most likely sit on death row until he dies. so my vote goe for him in general population. now thats where he will be taken well care of.... |

Well , ( I know I will rattle watsons chain here) I wanna know at what point "We the fucking people" became "vigilanties". Law enforcement was put in place by US to assist US in keeping OUR god damned Country safe. Now if we decide to do what we have always righfully done (Keep our god damned Country safe) we are called a god damned "vigilante". At what point did we give someone the right to hire people that we dont know to patrol our comunities and over ride all of our rights ? Sure there is "Law" , but there is also Right and Wrong. WE all know what Right and Wrong is as we see daily that the "Law" is completely fucked.... It is not wrong to put a bullet in an individual if he has harmed your children. YOU and the Child are the only ones in the word that have been wronged and thereforeare the only ones that will really suffer from it. Now how the hell can WE consider it "WRONG" to seek justice ? Not someone elses Justice but YOUR justice.... That shit makes me sick.... Kyle |
