I may as well come to grips with the idea that I'm going to spend some money on winter tires in spite of the agony of dropping half a thousand bucks into rubber. I'm looking for comments about that Norweigian Nokian winter tire Hank(something)10. Anyone been using them in snow/ice/mountains etc? It's a toss up between them or Dunlop Rover RT's. About the same money. Fortunately I have a extra set of steel rims for them and can set them aside come spring time. |

Nokians are better on ice, but the RTs are a good mud tire in addition to snow and won't wear out in highway use like the Noks. Ron |
