I am looking to install the Firestick antenna on my Disco but can't find a place locally that sells the parts. I don't think the Firestick website allows for online ordering. Thanks...

Truckstops are great places to find all kinds of CB accesories. Look for a Flying J, Petro or Pilot by a major interstate intersection in your area.

I got my CB and a few other goodies at my local Flying J. However, I would suggest a K40 antenna over the Firestik. Both are fine antennas, but the K40 has a lifetime warranty that includes breakage. If you break it, you just bring back both parts to the retailer, and they replace it free, no questions!

I thought this too good to be true, but my local CB guy carried them and I trust him so I bought 2. One shortie for road use (3ft) and one 5.5ft for wheeling. I broke the 5.5ft after about 6 months. When I took it back, he took my old one, and handed me the new upgraded model and say "Have fun"!

That made the price worth it for me. Also, you might consider Wilson antennas as they are widely regarded as excellent.

I am in Southrn Cal. Not sure where there are any truck stops around here. Any online retailers? I think the closest truckstop is in BFE... Thanks

http://www.valcoelectronics.com/cbantenna/fiberglass.htm. They have good prices compared to the local truck stops in my area. Make sure that you get the FS series; they have the adjustable tip which makes it much easier to adjust.

That would within 15 to 20 miles from me. Thanks. I just ordered from Valco Electronics though. If I need anything else I will check them out...
