The funny thing is I have a DII and am planning on keeping it till it dies. Considering what I paid for it and what it will be worth in about 5 more years it doesn't make sense to sell it. so it will at that time become a dedicated trail rig. I was contemplating doing that exact same thing to mine when the time comes and was going to ask someone from this board (whoever does all the crazy things with photo shop) to give me a rough idea of the out come.

Thanks for the pics I think I will definatly do it. But it is going to be a few years

Ok nice paint brush work but it reminds me of a choped Ford Torrino trying to look like a Ranchero. Poor Disco
Oh you could consider it a Poor Mans Defender 90

I did think the Rag top RRC was kind of cool as a trail rig but i would always be looking for the miget yelling The Plane boss the Plane

the 4 door looks awsome

I like it better then the green one that moved the rear forward

I like the just cut it off look

add a big tool box in back and now thats a trail rig

Cheir,

Is there any way you could chop about 12" off the ass of the 4 door? Then if you got real ambitious you could shorten the wheelbase 5"-10" and chop 12" off the ass of the 2-door.

If we are gonna do it we might as well do it right :)

Dee

yes the IH is the trail rig but that doesent say I cant have plans for the Disco

I'd say 4 door pick-up cut with D60's front and rear would be sweet.

and at the price of Disco's round here pretty affordable

Poor man's D90 (or poor man's hi-cap)? Well, if comfy leather, working heat & AC, full doors, window glass, and non-leaking roof are for the poor, then sign my happy ass up!

I like a bobbed Disco I best but that 4 door pickup is nice.
