I just added a '88 RRC to my collection and was wondering if there are any parts/items that I should consider chaging, or checking? The power steering is fine, might be a small leak by the front left brake/CV joint. I read about the axles, any suggestions what to change too? Thanks, Tom |

Tom, congrats!!! The first thing you need to do is remove the carpets and check for rust in the footwells. Also check the rear wheel wells (inside) for any rust. Here's a good site on RR rust repair: http://www.sector13.org/jason/rover/log/index.html Don't want to scare you but rust is a big problem on Rangies. Also, check for rust on the tailgate. Make sure all the lights on the dash are working. Some folks remove the EFI light bulb... Good luck. John C. BTW, where are you located? |
