Author Message   GreenRover Posted on Tuesday, September 10, 2002 - 10:02 am:    Does anyone know where the sensors are for the doors that identifies when one is open. I am getting a message that the door is open when in fact it is not. The interior dome light remains lit and the doors will not lock until I open and close the door which seems to clear the message. Or, can anyone suggest what to do? This happens every other day...   Andy Nix (Andy) Posted on Friday, September 27, 2002 - 02:00 pm:    Yeah, I had this problem on my 4.6 - the entire door lock mechanism has to me replaced. There's an electric eye inside the latch that eventually breaks. Contact [email protected] for a good price on a replacement. I guarantee that's what's wrong.....mine did the EXACT same thing.
