OH MY GOD-how stupid. Yeah, next time put AA on the steering wheel and shifter too and see how that works out. It's bad enough if you put it on the running boards and USE them!!!

I can't stand even reading those posts b/c they all write like they talk...POORLY!

Maybe Friday's why it was so funny, but that may be one of the funniest threads ever posted. The fact that the knucklehead posted the question himself is just to much! He could have at least started his thread off by using the old, "A friend of mine..." line.

True, Dee, but I just copied and pasted straight from the movie lines..... :) Didn't want to mess with the integrity of the script. :) LOL

Hey, at least the dumb SOB didn't find out that he could really screw up by applying silicone spray to the tread. That would really make for a wild ride in the rain!!! Maybe next time he will put a clear, light grease on the door handles as well to improve the ease of opening the door.

armor all your tread. what an asshole.

actually I can't imagine that stuff would stay on the actual contact patch for more than a few revs, especially in the rain...unless he was in the garage shining his tread and then drove straight out and into a tree. What a yutz.

yo yo snoop. I hurd dat. Dem peeps be slippin n' slidin all ova my plush letha creeb.

Once I watched my neighbor wash her hubby's BMW and she armor-alled the tires, then the dash. Before I could stop her, she had done the seats and the wheel. She had that crazed "gotta make the world shine" look in her eyes. I swear they put aerosol drugs in that shit.

all I can say is damn...I knew there were other perks of loving a landrover...I just didn't expect them to include my laughing my ass off alone in the office on a monday afternoon. I would just like to be the guy who took his complaint where he bought the tires.. (NTB ?) I wouldn't be surprised if they just hauled off and slapped him as soon as he finished...

c'mon all... you can put anything you want on your tires, ATF for example, and it won't last there for two miles. even in the rain. The shear at the tire thread is sufficient to peel off the rubber, let alone some liquid.
so i can't even say it was stupid or not to put AA on the tires, but this was definitely not the cause of the accident.

the guy is a moron regardless, not for having an accident but for bringing this shit up (what for?). the other guys are morons as well to say that AA was a nearly sole cause of accident (some were wiser to point out the t/c off). the guy is likely to be a jack shit of a driver.

the whole is300 thread is moronic, and maybe the board as well.

Amen!
That board and it's members are definitely moronic.

Look at the way they are all talking about how the accident wouldn't have happened if he'd just had his sissy-assed traction control on.
