I haven't been on the hunting scene for 20 odd years, but I remember Lanbar shotties back here in my home country Australia and I recall them being marginlly better than that Brazilian POS Bioto. Made to a price, Budget end I recall. Kicked like a bull
gee I miss the smell of Gunpowder

Yo,
in all truth there isnt a whole lot of difference between good or bad shotguns. what i am saying is that they are all good, the real difference will come in the resale value of the firearm. an example the very first shotgun i had was given to me by my father when 12 (i still have it) it was a sears brand, someone else made it for them, it was a .20 ga single shot with an actual trigger that had to be cocked to fire. my point is that as cheap as the gun was by todays standards it is one hell of a squirrel gun. i have taken meat from distances that a 12 gauge could not reach. odd but true. so from this example you can see its not the brand that will determine if it is a good gun, and now that you see that an in expensive gun can hunt then your choice will have to come down to taste and the color of socks you have on that day. if you can but the Lanber to your shoulder and it fits well buy it (it does sound kinda expensive for a field gun) if not move down or up the list of guns til you find what you want.
good hunting
