Why have there not been any "serious" discussions?

You know, like the "old" days. Two or three discoweb formats ago.

Someone has to come up with new stuff like bilstien dampers cause vehicles to pull, cheap bastard lift is bad, RE rules all, ARB sucks, etc etc. Has everything been covered? Does no one care anymore? Or have we all made are disco's perfect reliable machines for all on and off road travel.

So how about it?

Ron, I agree but I am at a loss right now because I just got rid of my Disco and am driving a Freelander! Unfortunately I don't thing that there is anything I can do to make my new vehicle better except buy another Disco.
Thanks, Gregg

Ron, feel free to type a little in my Shock Part #s thread over in the Tech session if you are so inclined. Other than that... Im sure we are just in a little bit of a resession, Kyle's on vacation, National Rally guys are wheeling, and you MAR guys are working on your trucks so much you dont have time to talk about it. Just a thought... thanks.

Ron, I'll try to think of some thing that will start trouble but, until Kyle and John get back I don't think there will be too much arguing about it. Could start a Portal and how to get them undera disco so I can run 36s worry free thread.. Or D60, which one, and just how much work is it really? Both of those I know you have been dealing with your self for quite a while. Or I could go with some thing like Warn M15000 vs Ramsey RE12000 who wins? Or D90 vs Jeep Rubicon, talk me out of getting the Jeep (if you can).

Oh and by the way, mine isn't perfect, I still have a vibe some where that I can not figure out. Also, my tires are cupping yet the front end alignment was corrected on a machine at a shop. (since last time I did it myself and the tires cupped then too) So, who the hells knows what's going on there. I think the Transfer case is messed up causing the vibe, or the diffs, and the cupping I'm just not sure about. Could be the castor incorrectness causing it but, can't do anything about that right now. Daily driver so it can't see down time longer then a weekend. Any thoughts?

Got to be t-case Eric, cupping is shocks or tire pressure. Also could be wheel bearings, try jacking up and wheel and seeing if it is loose.

Hollar at me at MAR and I will see if I can figure out which bearing.

Sweet, I'll do that. I just had the front end wheel bearings taken out and put back in to check them out since I was having the rotors done. Every thing else seems pretty tight. I've been using different tire pressures also trying to find the ones that work best so I could be doing it to my self on that one. Who knows.
