Need some advice - I'm converting my 95 LWB RR from EAS to coil springs and would like to know what options I have. My thoughts are an OME Medium Duty package plus slightly larger tires. Can the group provide me with any insight into what kind of set-ups are best? I travel more on road (long interstate miles to and from Colorado) but do go off-road in the mountains several times a year. Any suggested set-ups would be much appreciated (equipment, shocks,& tires). Thanks in advance for taking time to reply. [email protected] |

If you're doing mostly highway miles, and you're riding near empty, I'd suggest the OME MD springs, or RoverTym MD springs with Bilstein shocks. I had an opportunity to ride with a club member with a 1995 LWB who had the OME MD/Bilstein setup and it was amazing. Even though myself and others tried to get him to convert the first time hie EAS broke, he didn't listen and spent over a grand fooling with that stuff. He said he was sorry he waited so long to switch over. The ride off-road wasn't too shabby either. He said it was at least 100% better than the air setup. Best of luck to you. |

Dick, Have a 93 RRLWB and had the conversion performed by ECR. Very happy with the results which are documented on the ECR site under Range Rovers. It also describes the operation. CHeck it out and if you have any specific questions, e-mail directly if you want. Regards, Jim |

"could you make a 4.o se a coilover" yes.. but it's a tad more expensive to do. Looking at about $1500.00 for a 4.0-4.6 coilspring conversion. |

Hello Rob, Yes, it is to confus everyone! Better than "anonymous"! For some reason when I had to re-signup and everything went nuts. So, many signatures now including Blue Boy - Bliss's name for the 109. Anyhow - Use my aol account so I get your message. Would be great to have you stop by in April. Best regards, Jaime |
