Well, I like the bobbed idea but, hell if you are going to bob it chop the top off too. It would look pretty sweet bobbed and convertable with a lift and 33s or 34s.. |

I know one thing, you can't knock the departure angle. Thats what I was f'n with. Lets see if I can make it a little more pleasing to the eyes. |

I think what makes it look weird is the front looks way to long. |

I agree with Eric, you need to chop the top--at least the rear section--for it to look balanced. Then again, if you lowered the sucker that would look and be cool |

Man...no matter what you do to it... it's fugly...it's best to leave it alone. If you want shorter over-hang, buy a zuk!

Glenn, I almost like that..... if it had a lift and some big mudders on there, it'd help... and a canvas back like a Series....

Glenn, that picture makes me think of a damned VW rabbit for some reason. I don't know why. Anyway, it's just wrong. Better departure angle = no more destroyed/missing rear bumpers on Discos. Then there's no need to go out and blow all of your money on an aftermarket rear bumper. You could send the economy into a downward spiral. Be Careful!! Rick |

Looks funny but should be a wheeling king I estimate an 80 degree departure. http://www.christopherdynak.iwarp.com |

Still needs to have the chopped top though. Just the rear like the convertable 2 door G wagons or the 2 door convertable Freelander. That type of soft top. |

If you want a soft top bobtailed Disco, why not just by a D90? |

Gee I just had to get rid of my Disco and bought a Freelander for my daily driver. That first picture looks like a Monster truck Freelander. See I knew there was a benefit other than gas mileage, insurance, relability, maintainence costs, etc..... Ok I know you can go places I can't but the same is true for the Freelander. |
