I know, i'm a dork, but I'm highly addicted to fantasy football. It drives my wife nuts on Sundays, I keep racing the computer to see if my guys ahve scored!!

I've been offered a trade, and not sure if i should take it or not. I have LaDainian Tomlinson and Derick Mason and a guy wants to trade me Marshal Faulk. Not sure why he wants to offload him, but any thoughts?

I might wait till next week. The Chargers are playing Pheonix, and the rams are playing SF. So we'll see.....

You might want to check MF's stats this year...they are not up to par given the last few years performance. That goes for the Rams in general.

I looked in one of my leagues I am in (I am in 3 leagues and I got my wife hooked) and L. Tomlinson has 29 points after two games and D. Mason has 21 points. This might be different for you though if your league has a different scoring system. Is your league on cbs.sportsline? If so go to Stats/Player Scoring. That is the best as far as ranking players in you scoring system.

After two weeks M. Faulk has 39 points. If you are stacked at WR then I would consider the trade. Do you have two other WRs on your team that will average around 10 points per week? Who is your other starting RB? Faulk and the Rams have started off decent and that probably has the owner scared that all his stock is with one good player. Are you going to accept the trade?

P.S. I have DSL, have three windows open (one for each league) so I can look at live scoring and I have DirecTV so I can watch the New Orleans Saints and all the other games on Sundays.

It Must Be Football Season!!!

Robb,

Yup, I'm on cbs as well. My team has been great so far. I'm averaging 123. My team is:

roster

Not doing to bad so far. I'm in first. So we'll see what happens this weekend. I'm playing the #2 team this week.

Thanks for the advise. I think i can only handle one league. Don't think my brain could handle another. Plus this is a league with a bunch of my coworkers, so it's a lot of fun busting ball as work!!!

Zac,

How did you do in fantasy this week? My players stepped it up this week in all three leagues and I scored over 100 points in each league.

After the Monday night game I would strongly suggest you not trade for Marshall Faulk. I know this sounds crazy but L. Tomlinson is a better RB than Faulk this year. I will email you a spreadsheet you might find useful in tracking your team.

Good thing you didn't take my advice, what side dish goes well with a little crow?

My team did pretty awful this week. I only scored 61 points. Culpepper threw 1 TD, but 4 ints. My receivers also came up pretty short. My first loss.

I'm glad i didn't go through with the trade last week as well. Now I'm just trying to offload Brunell for a RB or WR. There are a few guys in my league that need a decent QB.

Robb, send me that xls file, I love this stuff. Don't know how you can have more than one team, I can barley handle one team. With getting all upset with the wrong guy catched a TD pass, or something like that. My wife now hates Sundays!!
