Yup, I saw one last week here in Boston. I think they look pretty cool, lot's of style and take up less road space for those of us that bike to work...

There was a company out there turning PT Cruisers (aka Neon station wagons) into Long Taxis.

The Corbin motors vehicles are some butt ugly vehicles but almost worth considering if you want something different. I would rather have a Mini or an older Isetta or Messerschmitt if I wanted something unique.

I think the Corbin Motors thing is COOL! Almost a hybrid between car, motorcycle and convertible!

I admit it, I want a pimped-out mini

I saw and sat in one of those Merlin's @ Corbins show room in Daytona last year. They are really cool except no top to speak of. And being the high tech gear head that I am, the harley 88 is a bit of a disappointment. Not real practical at all. I hear that a majority of the buyers are ladies.

Oh that was bad...
"A majority of the buyers are ladies" meaning we don't know the difference between practical and cute...or that we just follow fashion?!

Okay, sorry...got my feathers a little ruffled. I'm sure you were just making a statement.

Blue, I agree...I like the Minis...atleast they get good gas mileage, but then again, so does a Volkswagen Beetle. :)

Sus,I was hoping that statement wouldn't come across like it did. it was just a statement of fact and not meant to slander women in general.

I agree with Blue as well, i should have never driven a Cooper S. A go kart with leather. I am already trying to figure out how to swing my disco and the Cooper scoot as well. I may have to sell my motorcycles. Nah, that won't do!!!

Blue, did you say pimped out mini?
I still have to install the 6 point FIA roll cage and the union jack on the roof.

I was wondering how long it was going to take to get a pic of it up...... :)

I gotta say, I like it best of the Minis that have come through your shop so far.....

No offense taken Mike...I was in a sensitive mood yesterday. Rough day in the office!

David are those the old Bosch Rally lights? If they are, it brings me back to when I was a freshman in college working for this car collector. He had everything british and I mean EVERYTHING. And he stuck the Rally lights on a lot of his vehicles. I think when Bosch stopped making them he bought out the local K-mart's supply of them. He had them on his a few Jensens, John's Cars Jags, and wanted to put them on his DB5 but was worried about the resale value.

Al, those are just big old chrome lights, nothing quite as special as the Bosch. I do have a set of old 7" Lucas that I might put on it. John's Cars Jags, as in Broken Kitty?
Sus, it's registered as a 1966.

David, yeah one in the same. I drooled anytime I ever had to work for him. An XJS with a 383 is a wonderful thing. He didn't believe in stock vehicles either, all were modified in some way or another.
