Anybody got any good ideas how Discoweber's can meet up? I have never been to a MAR, so I don't know how it is organized. Some one come up with a good idea. Will   gp (Garrett) Posted on Tuesday, October 01, 2002 - 08:03 pm:    just start yelling and passing out free beer. that should do it Will!! hell the best way is just to walk around the camping area and just walk up to folks and introduce yourself. or just get out on the trail or ask when a group is going you might to tag along with. we will be with a group of about 6 or 7 trucks. mostly D1's and D2's, but we will have a few series trucks with us too. look for a blue '69 IIA and mine. click on my name above to see. we will also have a Bermuda flag flying high. paul morgan, greg parrish, evan and others will be with us. see ya there.   Paul D. And I wanted to finally put some names and faces together. It's been two years since I was at Pearl's. What a fun kick ass place. Well the disco isn't finished to my liking anyway and the beaches of Ocrakoke can be fun to wheel on. I'll probably have to bring the utility trailer to carry it all. The wife saw the beer stacked in the back of my truck and made a remark that she didn't think I could drink all of it. I let her know that some of it "might" be for my MAR buddies (and Buddettes) .... Then again, I may just drink it all myself. Just ask Garrett, and the other Uwharrie "Yeungling fan" ( from Atlanta I think) and the, Hummer Kids ... I just couldn't get rid of all the beer.. I had to take some back home with me from the "Uwh.....". Don't get me wrong though, the supply is limited and donations would be appreciated. We're going on vacation in November and that means a week of riding lessons to make up when I get home. The customers get cranky with too many cancellations in close proximity (they are an addicted bunch and I aim to keep it that way!), so I chose vacation. I drive Philly (have a project there) to Frederick (home) quite often. 2 1/2 hours door to door. Then 3 and some change down 15 from Frederick to MAR site. Much nicer drive as well.....
