One of my Labs is named Blue, which is how I feel when the Rover is broke down (which lately has been quite often) and I go look at the bank account. |

Dee Dee(Disco Dog). Rig.... My dog is named Rig but for a non-rover reason. He's a ridgling. Well was a ridgling we had that problem taken care of. |

Tom, A rig dog, eh? Rig horses are pretty difficult to deal with, and the surgery is a much bigger deal than a dog's op. Good for you for getting that taken care of. I think the retained teste can lead to cancer later, can't it? I think "Wheeler" gets my vote for Rover-related name. Bet you wouldn't find too many other dogs with that name. Karen |

Karen, We heard the same thing about cancer risks, unlike a rig horse our Rig wasn't having any behavioral problems, but in all fairness to the dog if he ain't going to be using it he don't need to have it. I to have had the "pleasure" of dealing with rig horses. After surgery they still are not the most pleasent animal you'll run across. |

I had a 'rig' colt once. One of the weediest horse I ever knew. Broke my heart, I wasn't allowed in the bull pin with him (he would have broken more than my heart). This was soooooo long ago ... Funny, I don't recall that name (ridgling) for that condition. (Then again, I don't recall a lot of things these days, LOL) I like the name Rover Kim |

Kim, A gal pal of mine gave me the BEST out for when I can't think of something. She said, "Just say your search engine is down." LOL! I've already used it plenty! THAT much I can remember! Karen |

My drill Sgt had a dog named "shithead". He used to bring it in to run PT with us. He would say get over here shithead, and 1 dog plus about 7 privates would come running. Cheers, Kennith |
