I got that in an email.......

Ouch! :(

The fella looks like he could cry in that one pic, the one w/ blood on his head... I know I would have been.....

There was one nearby here, same thing happened... blood splattered all over the girl driving, the paramedics had a heck of a time trying to take care of her... turned out that it was just the deer's blood on her, that she was okay, they just couldn't tell because she was still hysterical...

The story I read was that the dear got spooked and jumped off of the overpass that you can see in the background of the pics.

Nothing worse than deer missles.

Gotta give that deer a 9.8 on the landing, those back feet are perfectly aligned!

Please don't rely on this deer whistles that they sell all over the place, plenty enough has been written about them not doing a damn bit of good that one has to question if they are worth a shit.

Down here in S.C., the deer are very plentiful. I nailed my last one in 1998 with the 94 rover. Drove home from that with no worries. Found out that deer like firetrucks late at night too! Lucky us! At least the siren tends to drive them away.

The deer was probly running from all the Hunters that was in Minnasota I think and Wisconsin is have open season on all deer shoot as many as you want because they have mad cow disease or something like that some hunters fed them dog food to bulk them up and they got a disease

OMG!!! That is terrible. Luckily, I've never hit anything (knocking on wood) except a prairie dog in Montana once. It is strange how the roof is smashed though--is that just from impact or did he roll?!

About two months ago Ivan and I were driving in his Explorer and a deer ran in front of us and was struck by a car passing us in the oncoming lane (two lane road)...blood and guts splattered all over us and I almost threw up...it was so sad. I've never heard or seen anything killed like that-was a major shock to my system!

that's some damn long winter, Josh...

fwiw, my bro hit a deer at 50mph in his big jeep, and nothing happened to the jeep. like, nothing. poor thing went under after being hit with the brushguard.

that definitely spoiled the joy for that day...

Driving up to Bodega last summer, I swear to God, I missed hitting a big ten-point buck with my D1 / ARB at about fifty. If I actually missed him - I definitely wiped his *ss with the driver's side of the brush bar. We're used to seeing lots of deer on the roads here, but I was relieved to have missed that one! They're much, much bigger when they're about to come through your windshield.

That feller is lucky to be standing there in one piece.

Hey Josh way to go on the moose.

Just got back from Canada and we got 15 grouse and a 4 year old bull moose.

Wife called before I came home and the freezer crapped out so the steaks are still in the great white north DAMN!!!!!!:(
