Ok I know I read some where to have your OME Springs matched and I also read somewhere to get HD Rear Springs for the front and Super HD Rears on the rear?? I'm looking for a 2-2.5" lift, I had ordered a set of Green Monsters but Andys having troble with the supplier so I am now thinking OME... But everything I read on them is weight weight weight... Sounds like these springs will be stiff as hell with out any weight?? I don't ussually carry too much weight...as least I dont think I do considering the trucks a 7 seater.. anyway I'm babblin now...Just wanted to find that old post or some info on matching OME Springs... Seems the OME fronts will give me a 1.6" lift and the rears 2" ???\ THAnks |

Look at Rovertym. My OME setup barely gave me 1.5" after with my bumpers and winch etc. |

Phil, The set up that you're talking about for a 2.5 lift is to use the OME 764s (a medium duty rear spring) for the front of the truck and a 762 or 763 springs in the rear. However, you'll have to add about a 1.5" spacer in the back with this set up. Personally, I don't find the ride on the 762 to be particularly harsh. Even with all my junk off the truck in "winter mode" it still rides nice. The 763 on the other hand is a pretty firm spring if it's unladen. 762 in the rear gives a very nice, firm ride. With a 1" spacer and the D2 spring perch, you'll get around 2.5" give or take. However, you'll need to consider shock issues, because with the N108 in the rear, it is very easy to top the shock out. |
