It's getting time to install my 3" lift to my '94 D1. The vehicle has 148K with the associated rotoflex wear. There are currently no vibes with the stock set-up but I want to be prepared if any vibrations appear after the lift. I want to replace the rotoflex with a U-jointed driveshaft from my usual parts source for my series rover... Paddocks Spares, in the UK. I just wanted to double check the parts #'s so I order the right one. Can anybody provide the right part # for the shaft that I would need. The Paddock's # is FRC8387 (Rear Propshaft - V8 from VA541628). Just want to double check... THANKS for the help.

I used a custom made driveshaft built by Tom Woods in the US. If you are in the UK check Scorpion Racing. They have rear double cardan U-jointed driveshafts for Discoveries. The 4 bolt drive flange which you will need will be part no. STC4858.

For a 3" lift you shouldn't need a double cardan driveshaft for the rear. A standard ujointed drive shaft should work fine. There is a write up in the tech section that gives all of the details.
