Does anyone know what that switch on the pass side under the hood just behind the battery is for Im thinking it must an under hood work light but I cant find any kind of lamp any where |

Is it a switch much like a pole on a spring. If so that is for the anti-theft system. Try arming the vehicle and pop the hood before you get out(not fully though). when you shut all the doors and then pop the hood (all the way up) does the alarm go off? if so i think that is what the switch is for. |

What's the vacuum hose attached to that switch for? I mean, is it really detecting pressure changes? The hose on my D1 was so loose it couldn't hold anything substantial. Then again, the engine is blown lol! |
