My SRS light is on I did a search and found answers to this. My real question is why would my horn stop working also? Are the two connected? Last but not least what fuse is the horn on what does it share with? I checked my SRS fuse and it was good.

Its the mechanism behind the steering wheel that carries the connction though from the wheel to the harness. Check the fuses first but I am betting thats it.

Ok thanks Kyle hope it is a fuse but I would put my money behind your knowledge and go with your idea. If it is the spiral cassette assembley is it a part that is easy to replace?

Disconnect the battery and then remove the Air bag with the two Torx screws that enter from the back. Remove the steering wheel and the enclosure around the upper steering colum. Unplug the connectors and it falls right out. Its in there a certain way and needs to go back the same way or the wheel will lock up.. I think WIll Tillery has some used if that is what it ends up being..
