Sorry for posting this on the Tech page but need quick answer. Wanted to take the family to Uwharrie today to ride some of the easy trails and while researching it I saw a thread on the trails board stating the trails are closed in the winter. Does anyone know if they are open today and if not, when do they open? Sorry again, but thanks for your understanding. Tim |

Thanks, on the Uwharrie site it looks like it opens April 1st. Anyone know an easy trail within an hour or so of the Winston-Salem area? |

Try the Raleigh area there are some fun trails up there. Contact RCH. They are a good group of guys and they will give you directions to some trails. http://www.roverclubhouse.com/index.html |

There's a trail in Durham called Kemp. It's off Hwy 70. Infact there's a golf course called Falls Village. The road bang opposite it is Kemp Rd. Take this road all the way in till you see a rundown house. That's where the trails are. Get in touch with Luke at RCH (roverclubhouse) in Durham. They are a fun bunch and will help you out. |
