I am new to owning a discovery; and I have never driven one before I purchased one. Having had many other European cars; I find that the Rover follows the road contours more that other truck/cars I have drove. Is this just a rover trait; or do I need to look more into the steering components. All the links look fine and steering box is tight, New bilstein shocks. New steering damper. New Tires. New front and rear springs. 1997 Discovery Thank you

Roberto, I would think with all the new components, the rover is probably ok. As the miles add up, pay attention to wear of the front tires. Uneven wear patterns will be indicative of problems with worn ball joints and or tie rod ends. -Str0ud |

Also check the Swivel Ball preload if you know how. It makes a huge difference after it is adjusted back within correct parameters. With a '97 I would think you are ready. |
