Any suggestions on what I should use to lubricate the rails? White lithium grease?

A) remove them squeak gone
B) rubber coat the ends(same stuff you can use on tools.
C) Silicon spray lube

I would use White Lithium Grease, it would make for a nasty mess on the roof.

I just used the white Lithium grease on mine and it worked fine. Remember to spray the joint where the sunroof goes up and down and also spray the rails. I also use it on my door hinges and it totally silenced the squeaks i had.

You could try Dry Slide or similar teflon based dry lubricant spray. It wont attract dust or grime like grease will.

If I remember correctly, the manual called for the white lithium grease.
