Hope I'm not wearing out my welcome to quickly. In the afterglow of leaving my last set of questions regarding the lights on my Disco, I went out to leave and it wouldnt start. Actually it sputtered a little but would not gain rpm when gas pedal was mashed. Started checking it out and noticed that there was no Buzz or hum coming from the fuel pump when the ignition is switched on. I checked the fuse, pulled it and put a meter on it...no dead short, this makes me believe the pump is ok but maybe the relay is out???? Anybody know where this relay is located? Now it wont even sputter, just rolls over with no fire. I guess the up side is that it sure looks fine sitting in my driveway. Robert Payne |
