Just thought about that, I kinda like the SLS when pulling the boat and would'nt want to lose that if I wanted to get a 1" lift or so. Anyone know? Thanks again for advice- Jeff in NC |

Jeff, For a mild lift you can do OME MD springs and "trick the SLS. I had this setup for about 3 years and it worked pretty well considering the SLS: http://www.expeditionexchange.com/disco2frontcoils/ Good Luck. Curtis |

I did the same thing. Works great. I wouldnt want to trick it more then an inch though. RTE also makes SLS spacers for a 2" lift. |

Initially, I had my front lifted, went to a 245 MT tire and kept rear SLS stock. No problems. Currently, have a 265 MT and still no problems (rubbing). When I go off-road, I hit the lift button and seem to give me some needed clearance. Though, I am planning to add spacers. If you add better shocks, it will make a huge difference in ride. |
