I'm looking for a cheap obd reader, just to read and reset codes for my 2000 D2. I just looked at e-bay and saw Creader by launch, and actron- p9135 pretty cheap, anybody ever use these or know if they are compatable. Thanks.

I've got this one. It's worked fine on 1997 D1, 1997 D90 and 2001 D2.

It's also cleared codes on a 1998 Mustang.

I second that, got my 3100 from Midway in texas, for $119 and they had free shipping at the time. Its worked great on the 2000 disco, not so great on our 98 Lumina, why? don't know, but at least it turned off the change oil soon light on the chevy

I bought one from OBD2.com for my laptop. It works pretty good and gives plenty of information plus some LR specific codes. Got it for less than $100. If you have a laptop, this is a great setup. But, if I had to do it again, I would have given more consideration to the stand alone hand helds. There is even palm software out there that looks interesting. The standalones would probably be nicer to take on the trail instead of a delicate laptop. The one Craig mentioned is the handheld unit I liked the most and would suggest you give consideration to, as well as the OBD2.com

Bruce, Have you used the dyno feature? I'd love to see what the dyno shows for the Disco.
