Just curious and making conversation- You always hear the Porsche crowd dropping diffent size engines in, heck I've seen a Miata with a V8 once. Since '03 brought the 4.6 into the Disco, just wondering if it would fit as is or whether it would need extensive Mods. Since I hear the LR block is really just an old Buick derivitave, has anyone ever heard of anyone putting bigger blocks in, GM or otherwise? Not saying you would, just wondering if you COULD, as folks seem to frequently grumble about a lack of HP in the Disco line. (Though it is obviously offset by torque) Jeff in NC |

Jeff, yes the 4.6 will fit, as well at the 5.2. Just look at http://www.rpiv8.com/homepage.htm You will find lots of nice expensive upgrades. |
