D2 brush bar on a D1???

Will a D2 brush bar fit a D1. I have a D2 bar in the garage now. Peter Blatt has a D2 brush welded onto a RTE bumper. Looks a little strange, but passable from a distance. Good thing is the limb risers don't interfere with the hood in that setup!
