I noticed my trans i a little low .I don't know what trans fluid to add.i know dextron is suggested,but i think mine has somthing else in it.dextron is usually red,the stuff in mine looks like oil,but looks very clean. suggestions |

are you sure that you pulled the transmission dip stick and not the engine oil stick. this some times happens when we get excited! but i have not heard of a clear transmission fluid! and i belive it is all red! |

The trans dipstick is towards the back right hand side of the engine (left as you face it). If the fluid is amber in color then it is burned. At the very least have the fluid changed. |

i'm not stupid,i know how to check trans fluid.the fluid does not look burnt, it's way to clean.it almost looks like a synthetic.i just didn't know if anyone had used a clearer atf. |
