I have a 98 D1 and the rear cargo door seems to leak into the cargo area? When the door is closed it seems like there is a gap at the top of the door, is there anyway to adjust the back door to close tighter?? |

Yes you can adjust the latch on the back door. The post on the back pillar has an allen head in the end of it. Just loosen it and move it in. You might want to replace the rubber seal if its leaking rather than tighten the latch. Also, I think there is a TSB for leaking alpine windows so you might want to check those also. |

you can also buy a new "wedge" - the black plastic piece on the door itself that mates to the metal receiver on the door frame. Then just fine-tune the wedge & receiver. The wedge gets worn out and the door will rattle after a while. |

that wedge peice is plastic... anyone know a reason why it's not metal so it will not wear out? |

My '95 has a metal one and it still rattles. I adjust the latch and bolt once a week! Time to replace the whole unit! |
